« SILENCIO » narrates the story of Luke, a seven-year-old American boy who is in Mexico with his monther, Ingrid, who has taken the boy to Queretaro to visit the tomb of Javier, the father he never knew. But Ingrid is addicted to painkillers and incapable of providing for her child, Ingrid plans to abandon Luke with Javier’s sister, who refuses to recognize the child. Luke is unaware of the trip’s purpose, but he senses that his mother is distancing herself from him and he has visions and premonitions of her death.
